At Lapis Counseling, all persons are welcome and deserving of a safe space to unpack, explore, heal and find way to create healthy changes. All services are provided through evidenced based therapies and clinical practices, and are tailored to each client’s needs. I am licensed to work with clients in both Ohio and South Carolina via telehealth.
My goal is to be able to give you the tools to be able to heal, and to empower you to get to know all parts of yourself. I pride myself on being a warm, direct and interactive therapist so that you feel supported and challenged throughout our work together.
Throughout the course of my career, I have focused upon being able to help those who have survived trauma and abuse, through Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and mindfulness strategies.
I also have training and experience working with clients who have dissociative disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship distress, and phase of life concerns.

I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Akron in 2018 and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Designation, with six years of experience. I have worked in both community mental health and private practice settings, as a clinician, as a training supervisor, and as a director.

No show and late cancellation policy
Any appointment that is missed or is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a no show or late cancel fee, which is the same price as an individual counseling session. An appointment can be considered a “no show” if you have not shown up for your appointment within 15 minutes of the start time.
Of course life happens, and exceptions are granted for emergent situations and other unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, which is at your clinician’s discretion. Please communicate these as soon as you know and are able!
